United Way of Fort McMurray

 I Believe in My Community.

The 2010 Community Campaign was an outstanding success, raising $6.75 million for the United Way of Fort McMurray! This extraordinary effort placed our community as the highest per capita giver of any United Way in Canada for the fifth consecutive year. Way to go! With your help, United Way is now supporting more than 60 programs and services in the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo.

So how will we follow up to this amazing feat? Well, the planning for the 2011 Campaign Season has already begun. Community Campaign Chair Fred McDonald will be taking over the reins from Barb Jewers and he's already well on the way to painting our town red— United Way Red.

The 2011 Community Campaign will officially run from September 9th to November 18th 2011. Stay tuned for updates, info and tips on how you can be a part of the United Way movement and how you too can show you believe in our community.
