Woods Homes Stepping Stones

Homeless and at-risk young people in this city can now access Stepping Stones Youth Services - a temporary shelter, operated by Wood's Homes, located in Dickensfield, at 102 McConachie Crescent.


The shelter offers a safe place to youth who are living on the street, couch-surfing, at-risk of sexual exploitation, or who are living away from home for whatever reason.

 
Wood’s Homes also has a Mobile Outreach Service that connects with other youth programs in Fort McMurray, does street outreach with youth ages 12-24, and supplies information, basic needs, and resources to this at-risk population. 
 

Wood's Homes is working collaboratively with the community to continuously improve and modify its program in order to meet the ever-changing and complex needs of this region and the youth who reside in it.
